Rebuilding Napa and Sonoma

Napa and Sonoma Counties are rebuilding lives, homes and businesses after wild fires tore through their communities the week of October 8th.  This part of California is renowned for the wine and foods they produce, and they are near and dear to our hearts at Harris Ranch.

The New Harris Ranch BBQ Express Welcomes Travelers to a Tasty Stop

Travelers making their way along I-5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles have a new quick and delicious bright spot on their journey. Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant has added the Express BBQ, a small outpost inside the Shell gas station, just west of the restaurant complex. The smoky, mouth-watering smell from the large smoker outside the Harris Ranch Express BBQ lures visitors to a wallet-friendly menu served in less time than eating inside the famous restaurant. The eatery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Food Fashion Prediction: Coulottes are in for Spring!

As the temperature warms, many women are sporting their “culottes”- a short, wide-legged pant.  However, the grill also beckons for “coulottes”—a cut of steak from the top of the top sirloin and shaped like a tri-tip steak.  Harris Ranch Coulotte roasts or steaks are an affordable cut that can be tender when grilled properly, and full of great flavor.  They are a wallet-friendly option for upcoming spring celebrations like Mother’s Day and graduations.
